Founding board

Board of Directors

Hearthmont is a proposed nonprofit being formed. Its founding board members are listed below.

Pessy Rosenfeld

Founding Board Member

Pessy Rosenfeld has spent eight years at Yedei Chesed Inc., where she is a Financial Intermediary (FI) Supervisor overseeing policy development and implementation, mid-level management within her department, and housing subsidies through Self-Direction ranging from Putnam County to Brooklyn. She also continues to work directly with individuals and families as a practicing OPWDD Certified Support Broker and New York State Housing Navigator. Her work in disability services has given her a deep understanding of how accessible, affordable housing promotes independence, stability, and community integration for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). A Rockland County resident, she is personally committed to expanding affordable housing throughout Rockland and Orange counties. On Hearthmont’s board, she hopes to bring a practical, service-oriented perspective grounded in firsthand knowledge of housing programs, subsidy structures, and the challenges families face in finding appropriate housing, and to help identify opportunities for collaboration and innovative housing solutions.
